Andrea Cairns

Andrea joined Waitaki District Health Services in 2005 and is passionate about providing a great health service for the people of Waitaki, as she has grown up in the area and lived within this community her entire life.

With vast experience in various roles at Waitaki District Health Services, Andrea has obtained a wide range of skills, and a broad knowledge of the organisation and the health sector which she can offer as CEO.

Within her previous roles, Andrea has been responsible for leading and maintaining a collaborative approach to the operations of the organisation. She has completed tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management and Leadership and is committed to ongoing personal and professional development. 

Andrea loves working with people and building relationships and believes that an organisations staff are its most valuable asset. She feels very fortunate to be working with such wonderful people who demonstrate a high level of commitment and loyalty to our community, contributing to the success of Waitaki District Health Services.
