Andrea Cairns

Andrea joined Waitaki District Health Services in May 2005 and is passionate about providing a great health service for the people of Waitaki, as she has grown up in the area and after all, once she walks out the doors, she is a patient herself.

With over fifteen years at Waitaki District Health Services, Andrea has experience across a number of roles that contribute to the knowledge and support that she can offer as Corporate Services Director

Within her role, Andrea is responsible for leading and maintaining a collaborative approach to the operations of the organisation. She has completed tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management and Leadership and is committed to ongoing personal and professional development. 

Andrea loves working with people and believes that an organisations staff are its most valuable asset. She feels very fortunate to be working in this area and to be able to contribute to the success of Waitaki District Health Services, and the wonderful staff.
