Maternity Centre Position (Casual)

We are seeking either a Midwife, Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to provide support for our postnatal inpatients, mums and babies, and their whanau/families while staying with us at Oamaru Maternity Centre. Breastfeeding knowledge or education is a bonus, although not required as orientation and training will be provided.

This position is casual, to support the team for uncovered shifts such as annual leave, over varied rostered shifts including mornings, afternoons, and nights throughout the week.

Oamaru Maternity Centre is a rural midwifery-led primary birthing unit with 2 birthing rooms, a birthing pool and 3 postnatal rooms.
