Receptionist / Administrator (permanent, part-time)

Exciting opportunities have arisen within the Administration team at Waitaki District Health Services Ltd for someone with great customer service skills to be the first point of contact for our patients/visitors/whanāu in our Emergency Department.
Primarily you will be undertaking the receptionist function so a friendly manner and the ability to interact with patients both in person and on the phone comfortably is essential. Additionally you will be required to support the administrative function of the team by providing clerical support as required.
The successful candidate will be required to have excellent interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal). You will also have excellent computer skills. An ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as a team is essential.
Duties will be as rostered over 7 days a week (including Public Holidays) and between the hours of 8am – 9pm so your availability to work within these days and hours is a must.
