During Delta level 2, services at Oamaru Hospital will resume to normal.
Visiting hours will be 2pm – 7pm and visitors restricted to 2 per patient.
Maternity - No children to accompany their parents for antenatal visits however children will be permitted for inpatient visits.
ALL visitors to the hospital will be screened before entry, must scan in using the QR code or enter their details in the handwritten register, and required to wear a mask at all times. Please be kind to our staff through the screening process.

Registered Nurse (0.8 FTE Permanent)

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. Oamaru Hospital is designated as a Rural Hospital, and includes a small inpatient unit, primary birthing unit, emergency department, outpatient clinics and is well supported with a wide range of community and diagnostic services.

You will be required to be flexible across the organisation as we are a Rural Hospital our departments work collaboratively.

The successful applicant will be committed to providing clinical excellence, must have a current New Zealand Practicing Certificate and preferably a minimum of two years’ experience in an acute setting.
