During the Orange Traffic Light System, services at Oamaru Hospital will remain as they are currently.
Visiting hours will be 2pm – 7pm and visitors restricted to 2 per patient.
Maternity - No children to accompany their parents for antenatal visits however children will be permitted for inpatient visits.

ALL visitors to the hospital will be screened before entry, must scan in using the QR code or enter their details in the handwritten register, and required to wear a mask at all times. Please be kind to our staff through the screening process.

Kelvin moved to Oamaru to take up the position of Chief Financial Officer at Waitaki District Health Services on 8 December 2020.

Kelvin is married to Debbie with four adult children. He was born in Birmingham and a dedicated ‘Bluenose’ fan of Birmingham City Football and of Calgary Flames Hockey. He has lived and worked in the UK, Monaco, France, Australia, USA, Canada and New Zealand.

Professionally some of his most interesting and challenging experiences have been working in offshore finance for ten years in Monaco, six years as Partner with Accountants BDO, International consulting assignments with PWC, and previous CFO roles in large non-profit social services and health organisations.

He is passionate about social justice and working to provide essential support and services for those that need them.

When not at work he tries to keep his classic car running as a ‘rolling restoration’, reads history, watches sport at unreasonable hours and loves being outdoors.
