If you have any COVID or Flu symptoms please do not present to the Hospital contact your GP and follow the guidelines set by them. We also ask that you do not visit or attend your outpatient appointment if you are feeling unwell.
Visiting hours are 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 7pm

Paul Allison

Paul has wide spread governance and business experience having served on boards within the health, retail, education, energy, sport and community funding sectors.  He also has over 20 years’ leadership experience as Chief Executive of sector leading organisations.  

He is currently chairman of Infinite Energy Limited, the Otago Rugby Union’s board appointment panel and is a director of Otago Polytechnic, University Book Shop (Otago) and Central Otago Health Services Limited.

His previous governance roles include Sport New Zealand, Winter Games NZ as well as being a Life Trustee of the Halberg Foundation.  

Paul has a strong background in communications and the media – having worked for TVNZ and NZME for several years – and is a member of The Lion Foundation South Island grants committee.

In 2015, became a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit.

Mr. Allison was appointed to the Board of Waitaki District Health Services Limited in 2018 and is currently Chair of the Waitaki District Health Services Trust.
